When I was in High School I took my very first Photography Class. I can still remember the smell of the darkroom & the developer....I loved it! I went scouring the local parks or the beach to find something worthwhile to present in class so that I could demonstrate my understanding of composition. It was one of the first classes that I looked forward to. I come from a family of artists. My father, my uncle & brother are gifted in painting and drawing. Though my major at the University of Rhode Island was Exercise Science & Physiology with a concentration in Education, that genetic inclination for the arts is woven into my soul. I had picked up a few photography, drama & art courses but ultimately got my Bachelor of Science. 

My career path has taken a few wild turns.  I ended up with a decent sales career, but my love of photography kept me taking courses to stay "In the know" as the landscape changed into the digital age. Having spent many years documenting my adventures with a basic camera, (escapades with the family pets & capturing the antics of my children's enormous personalities) I was gifted with a proper Canon professional camera! It was then that I knew it was time to listen to myself, stop just talking about it & go after what I've always known I wanted to do. I would combine my love of the outdoors, pets, and children with my passion for photography. And so here we are.....In addition to my work as a photographer, I am also a REALTOR with RE/MAX Moves serving all of Greenville & Spartanburg counties.

Through a lot of hard work and much community & friend support, I feel like I have found my niche and I am truly passionate about what I do.
