I love so much to grab the moments that no one is expecting to see when they open their gallery. Some of the best photos I've taken have been those that are not staged. I like to take the pressure off a bit and allow kids to be kids, or adults to be their goofy selves. Photoshoots should not be punishment! I always want my clients to have a good time and not dread the experience. When you have fun, you get the best expressions & that real emotion that is priceless.
Many of my clients have been with me since the beginning when I was fumbling around with my camera. I think that is because I really love what I do, I like a challenge and I adore having a great time & perhaps that is translated in my sessions. I am so appreciative for my repeat client friends for always trusting me to take their treasured photos.

Arrive on time. Bring a full diaper bag, extra bottles & anything else you think the baby will need. For family sessions come well rested, fed, & happy...Not just the husbands but kids too! ;-)
The session alone is just the beginning. Darien then goes home and spends hours editing your photos. Typically galleries are promised in 10 days to 2 weeks, however she has been known to burn the midnight oil to email you your file.
